Announcements from Hames & Axle Farm on herd health, kidding, and changes.
Our first does have kidded and everyone is healthy and bouncing. Reservation holders will receive photos and updates by email as kids reach their go-home age. Watch the Marketplace for available kids from this year's lines.
All breeding does and bucks have completed their seasonal health screening. CDT boosters and hoof trims are up to date across the herd, and fecal results came back clean. If you adopted a goat from us this season, no action is needed on your end.
We've adjusted our mineral and forage program based on this year's soil tests. Owners are encouraged to review the updated free-choice mineral recommendations in the Goat Care forum and reach out with any transition questions.
